DIY Flair Buttons

I am still on my quest to make some flair buttons that look nearly as good as the ones you can buy but a fraction of the cost.  This time I used some recycled badge fronts that I found on ebay.

I selected some scraps of paper and found a large button to draw round that was bigger then my badge.

I cut the circle out then placed the badge top in the middle and drew round that.  Then I cut a fringe around the edge and cut up towards the inner circle but stopping just before I reached it.  Cutting a fringe will allow me to manipulate the paper easier around the badge for a neater finish hopefully.

Using a tiny dob of Glossy Accents I attached it to the badge and bent the fringe over, tucking it into the rim of the badge as best I could.  Then I found a sticker to go on the front.

Using tweezers I dipped the flair into PVA glue and left it to dry for several hours.  When it dries nice and clear and glossy it kind of resembles a flair button.  I was quite pleased with the result, so made a few more.
